Who we are.

Harley-Davidson® established the Harley Owners Group® in 1983 for the benefit of their customers. Initially chapters were only established in the USA but in 1991 H.O.G.® went international. Today, there are almost a million members making it the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle organization in the world.

Abu Dhabi's H.O.G. chapter is #9710 and we have over a hundred members all of whom are also members of H.O.G.. We are organized as a club with elected members. 

Our aim is provide enjoyable rides and activities for our members and also for friends who are not members and who may not even own a Harley.  

As you would expect in such a cosmopolitan city as Abu Dhabi we have a wide range of nationalities represented. What brings us together is a love of riding and a love of Harleys.

Types of Event.

Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members, but we invite anyone who wants to ride. There are three categories of activities - 99% of our events are “Open”:

Member events are events that are open only to H.O.G. members

Open events are those chapter events which are open to HOG members & other guests as desired. Membership in HOG not needed. You're Invited!

Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member.

Thursday Night Rides.

Each Thursday in the riding season we meet at the dealership in Abu Dhabi at 7.30pm and leave at 8pm to a short ride (normally about 30 minutes) to a place for a drink and a chat.  These are normally Open Events but check on the Upcoming Events page to make sure.

Longer Rides.

We are a very active local chapter and regularly organize longer rides to places like Al Ain and Fujairah a couple of times a month.  We also regularly do overnighters.  More info on the Calendar page.

Benefits of Membership.

H.O.G. is an international organization with local chapters.  When you buy a new bike from the dealer in Abu Dhabi you get one year's free membership of both H.O.G. and the local chapter.
