Types of Event. Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members, but we invite anyone who wants to ride. There are three categories of activities - 99% of our events are “Open”: Member events are events that are open only to H.O.G. members Open events are those chapter events which are open to HOG members & other guests as desired. Membership in HOG not needed. You're Invited! Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member. Thursday Night Rides. Each Thursday in the riding season we meet at the dealership in Abu Dhabi at 7.30pm and leave at 8pm to a short ride (normally about 30 minutes) to a place for a drink and a chat.  These are normally Open Events but check on the Upcoming Events page to make sure. Longer Rides. We are a very active local chapter and regularly organize longer rides to places like Al Ain and Fujairah a couple of times a month.  We also regularly do overnighters.  More info on the Calendar page.
